Upcoming Events:
- Mar 11: Zoom Meeting with Jay White on invasive species.
- Mar 20-23: Sportsmen’s Show, volunteers needed for the club booth.
- Apr 5: Members’ Dinner at Jefferson Armouries.
- Apr 8: Phil Rowley’s presentation on fishing in South America.
- Apr 29: Last fly-tying/swap night at the Armouries.
Club News:
- Seeking member input on club objectives and youth participation ideas.
- Onoway Fish and Game Club donated $2,500 for Spring Lake aeration.
- 2025 Conservation Raffle approved, featuring a Quicksilver 365 HD PVC boat. Tickets are $10 each, with the draw on September 20.
Fishing Updates:
- ACA is developing a mobile walleye hatchery to increase walleye stocking capacity.
- Tiger Trout, a hybrid of Brown and Brook trout, are now stocked in Alberta lakes and are popular for their aggressive bite and fight.
