Club Activities & Updates
- March Events: Members participated in a fishing trip to Spring Lake (despite heavy winds), a fly-tying night, and a presentation on Peace region trout lakes.
- Maintenance: Ray and Gaetan repaired the aerator fence at Spring Lake, replacing 18 broken posts following a windstorm.
- Sportsmen’s Show: The club’s booth was a success, selling out all 750 raffle tickets for prizes donated by Ken and The Fishing Hole.

- April 14: Zoom presentation by Nicole Kimmel on Invasive Species.
- April 28: Fly Tying Night (Location TBD).
- May 12: In-person presentation on Southern Alberta Streams.
- June: Club BBQ at Spring Lake.
Important Regulations & Membership Perks
- New Limits: As of April 1, 2026, the trout retention limit at Spring Lake has been reduced to 2 fish.
- Location Spotlight: The newsletter features Rawson Lake, a deep mountain lake known for Cutthroat trout, reminding anglers of its catch-and-release (C&R) regulations and bait ban.
