- Hasse Lake: Now rejuvenated by a new aeration system, the lake is stocked annually with Rainbow and Tiger trout.
- Fairfax Lake: Located south of Edson, this lake offers annual Rainbow trout stocking and naturally reproducing Brook trout.
- Warming Waters: A “Conservation Corner” feature warns that as temperatures reach 20C, dissolved oxygen decreases, causing lethal stress for trout. Anglers are encouraged to adopt more conservative “angling thresholds” and stop fishing for certain trout species when water temperatures reach 12C 19C depending on the specific breed.
