Edmonton Trout Club Meeting with our very own Chuck Harvey Presenting on tying chironomids.

– I will be discussing the use of Anti-static Bag (ASB) in tying chironomids.

– Please bring your fly-tying kit to the meeting and I will have all the materials you need to tie the ones I demonstrate afterwards. You will only need to have your own spools of thread. (Black & Rusty brown or burnt orange)

We will be having our first winter trout club presentation this coming tuesday JAN 11, at 7pm.

We ave a special guest!

Shona Derlukewich, a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology – Renewable Resources (2005) and University of Alberta – Conservation Biology (2017) programs. She has provided field knowledge and educational teaching with over 16 years of fisheries experience. With the help of many consultants, governments, universities, Trout Unlimited Canada, and friends, her fish identification workshops have provided great interest throughout the fisheries community.
“I am very excited to offer workshops to technologists and biologists across the province. Together we can provide mentorship, education, and awareness to reignite the passions in our Alberta fish”
