There are 2 Kids Can Catch events this weekend.

Saturday June 9 in Fort Saskatchewan & Sunday June 10 in Beaumont.

These events are meant for kids and their families to experience their first time fishing and there will be equipment and advice supplied.

They are always looking for volunteers for these events to help out with the new anglers and this is a great opportunity to foster and guide the next generation of anglers and conservationists so if you want to help out please do so.

ETFC JUNE BBQ

The ETFC is holding it’s annual June BBQ 

Sunday June 17 2018

This is a long time ETFC tradition and we invite all members to bring their families and friends out to enjoy the facilities at Spring Lake and have a chance to meet new members or reconnect with old friends.

B.Y.O.B.

Bring Your Own Beverages – Please bring your favourite summertime drinks. Please drink responsibly!!

B.Y.O.M. 

Bring Your Own Meat – Please bring your favourite items for the grill. We will be lighting the grills at 3PM and they take a while to heat up. We expect to eat around 4:00 – 4:30 PM

B.Y.O.C. 

Bring Your Own Chairs – We have some large picnic tables but if you want to sit in comfort please bring your favourite chairs.

B.Y.O.P.&U.

Bring Your Own Plates & Utensils – Please bring plates, knives, forks, spoons & cooking utensils. We ask that you bring reusable cutlery and plates and take them home to wash to cut down on waste.

B.S.S.D.&D.

Bring Some Side Dishes & Desserts – The ETFC will be providing condiments, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes. We ask members to bring side dishes such as salads, baked beans, pickles & cheese/veggie/fruit trays as well as desserts to be shared on the community table.

B.Y.F.G.

Bring Your Fishing Gear – We will be having our annual ETFC Fishing Challenge this weekend. Be sure to bring your fishing gear to give Spring Lake a try. We give an award to the adult and youth angler who catches the biggest trout of any species, by any legal means, out of Spring Lake or any other area lake on either Saturday or Sunday Please bring a picture of your fish with a length measurement to Ray Kelsey during the BBQ on Sunday to be eligible.
